Dr Shermin Lee is our specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS). She specialises in dentoalveolar surgery, wisdom teeth surgery, dental implants and management of impacted teeth for orthodontics. Dr Lee loves her work and has a soft and gentle approach.
On Solid Ground
Dr Lee started her dental journey in Australia and obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2001. She then went on to pursue her passion in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and graduated with distinction in Master of Dental Surgery (OMS) from the University of Hong Kong.
Dr Lee also has a strong interest in research, obtaining her PhD from the Radboud University of Nijmegen, The Netherlands in 2009.
She is an existing fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore, a member of the Singapore Dental Association and the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr Lee worked at the National Dental Centre, Singapore upon graduation as a consultant from 2010 to 2014, contributing to both teaching and research.
She was appointed associate Editor for the Proceedings of Singapore Healthcare which involves research and publications and was also a Clinical Lecturer for the National University of Singapore during this period.
Dr Lee was also the President of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Singapore from 2009-2010.
Behind the scenes
Dr Lee has a really cute pet dog called Cookie. Together with Dr Poon’s dogs, Kopi and Sugar, these three pooches would fit right in in any cafe!
Her hobbies are in photography, travelling and appreciating the wonders of nature.
