Dr DUAN Duoni

Dr Duan derives deep satisfaction from helping her patients achieve gorgeous and healthy smiles.

With a keen interest in miniscrew assisted rapid palatal expanders (MARPE), correction of jaw deformities and impacted teeth, Dr Duoni stays up-to-date on the latest advancements in orthodontics in order to provide the most efficient treatment possible.

Known for being gentle and meticulous, she emphasizes patient education and communication to ensure holistic orthodontic treatment that balances facial and lip aesthetics with functional, healthy occlusion.

On Solid Ground

Dr Duan graduated with Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2019 from the National University of Singapore (NUS), where she received multiple academic awards. Her interest in Orthodontics led her to pursue her Master of Dental Surgery in Orthodontics at NUS, where she was also honored with the Invisalign Foundation Medal and Prize (Distinction in Orthodontics). Her master’s research focused on simulator training for miniscrew insertions.

She has a wide clinical experience in both the public and private sectors. Her patient, warm and detailed nature has earned her a Gold award in the Singapore Health Quality Services Awards (SHQSA). She is currently a visiting clinician at the National University Centre For Oral Health Singapore (NUCOHS), where she also contributes to research and undergraduate teaching.

Behind The Scenes

She is also major dog lover! She enjoys long nature walks and feeling sand beneath her toes. As an amateur flautist, she enjoys performing ensemble pieces with friends. Catch her concert when you can!
